2019 Children’s Summer Reading Club

Summer Reading Club Kick-Off is Saturday, June 22.

10:00 – 11:00 am Register for the Summer Reading Club and enjoy a carnival in the Library Backyard with games, face painting. and snacks.

11:00 – 11:45 am Story Faces with Christopher Agostino (for registered children)

How Does the Summer Reading Club Work?

Children ages 3 through entering 5th grade will read and report on at least 5 books between June 24 and August 13. Children may draw a picture, write a report, spin the question wheel or give a brief oral report about the books they have read. Children may submit no more than 2 reports at a time.

Designated prizes will be given for each of the first 5 books read. Bonus books will be given out for each additional 5 books read to encourage children to continue reading.

Each child who reads and reports on at least 5 books will be invited to attend the End of Summer Party with Erik’s Reptile Edventures!
